Northern Powerhouse Developments are delighted to announce they have exchanged on another hotel in the heart of Yorkshire.
The hotel, situated on the outskirts of Huddersfield, will become the fourth in the NPD portfolio of Yorkshire properties and takes their total number of hotels across the UK to fourteen, with more set to arrive in the coming months.
Located on beautiful Scapegoat Hill and surrounded by the rolling Pennine hills, it is currently made up of 31 bedrooms and once the sale is completed it will undergo extensive refurbishment to bring it in line with our Premier Collection of hotels.
Each of the current rooms, many of which enjoy stunning views across the rugged Yorkshire landscape, will be lovingly renovated to the same high standards as the Llandudno Bay Hotel in North Wales. The hotel’s 50 cover restaurant, function room and conference rooms will also be modernised to ensure the hotel lives up to its Premier Collection status.
With its uniquely elevated position, this incredible hotel even boasts its own helicopter pad and is a hugely popular venue for weddings and conferences.
The exchange on this fourth Yorkshire hotel follows the purchase of The Harland Hotel in Scarborough last year, along with the acquisition of The Coach House Halifax and The Old Golf House Hotel outside Huddersfield, seeing the Yorkshire cluster go from strength to strength.
