Northern Powerhouse Developments have praised the efforts of FC Halifax Town after the club’s deserved promotion back to the National League last week and confirmed they will again be the club’s main shirt sponsor next season.
The Shaymen will now play in the fifth tier of English football – a year after they were relegated from the division – and NPD Chairman Gavin Woodhouse was the first to praise the club’s immediate return to the top.
He said: “Promotion back to the National League is a fantastic achievement for the club and well deserved after such a tremendous season.
“A town like Halifax deserves to be playing national football and we are delighted to have sponsored the club shirt this year and look forward to supporting them again next season.”
A league record crowd of 7,920 watched the decisive game at The Shay against Chorley on May 13th when goals from captain Kevin Roberts and Scott Garner sealed promotion and a return to the big time.
